Registration

In order to list your profile on www.lankalove.com, you need to register for each of the following service areas; Lanka Love Marriage Proposals, Lanka Love Pals, Women Seeking Women, Men Seeking Men. Please click the JOIN button of each section to proceed for registration. Note: You need to register in each section, If you want to list your profile in one or more sections. After you have completed your registration, one of our staff will check your profile within 24 hours, before adding to our members list. If accepted, your profile will appear in the section you have registered. Then you can login to your account to upload your photo, edit your profile and send emails to other members.

Sending Receiving Email Messages

The email address used for your registration in our site is the email account used for receiving emails and messages from other members. Hence, there is no mail box allocated for you within our site. If you want to send messages to other members you need to login to our website (in the section you have registered) and click the [ Send Email ]. Then you will be able to use the internal mailing system to send messages to other members. Your email address will be notified to them and if they reply you, the replies will be forwarded to your email account used for your registration in our site.

We are highly concerned of our users' privacy. We use a hidden messaging system to prevent spam and privacy acts. When you receive a reply for your profile, your email address will not be disclosed to anyone unless you reply them. Therefore your privacy is protected by us all times.

Deleting your Profile.

Due to security reasons we do not allow our users to delete the profiles. Instead we allow users to edit all information in their profiles at anytime. If you need the omission of your profile completely, please send us an email to info@lankalove.com requesting us to do so, using your email account used for registration with the following details.

1. Your registered email address.

2. Section you are registered. (Pals, Marriage Proposals...)
3. ID # number of the listed profile.

Please note that we delete profiles periodically and we take note of your request to remove the profile from the list in our next update. Sending too many requests are considered as abusing our service. We will not correspond with people who have abused our service.

If you have Login Problems.

Please do the following before you login.
1) Close all browser windows.
2) Delete all the cookies and offline files.
3) Set the browser to accept cookies (better if you can set the browser to default settings)

We are happy to inform you that Lankalove.com is free of SPAM and SCAM, since we started to verify each profile manually from September 2005.
